George's Story

After graduation, I went to Tech and studied Electrical Engineering into my junior year. Dropped out and joined the Air Force and became a computer programmer. After seven and a half years, the Air Force and I parted ways and Hertz picked me up and I programmed computers for them for 21 years. Then Hertz had a reduction in force...Expand for more
, and my position was terminated. I looked for a job for a year and determined that my skill set was not in much demand. So I went back to school. Attended OSU/OKC and December 2009 got an AAS in EET. And the job search continues. Along the way I got married, had a stillborn child, got divorced and am still looking for true love.
