How do we write about our lives without looking like we are either complaining or bragging? What have I learned? Folk our age do not regret what they have done as much as what they have not done. n which we matured, I started writing some experiences for them, I wanted them to know about growing up in the Cold War, going through the hot spots in it, and living the events which bent us, sometimes past the elastic limit. These were coming-of-age moments for me, but because they regarded events interesting in themselves, some became interesting to others.
