George's Story
Life
Since graduating from High School I have met a wonderful woman and was married in Novemeber 1956 and will be celebrating the 48th Anniversary in China. I have received a B.A., M.Div. and a D.Min. I have served congregations in Virginia, New York, North Carolina, Michigan and Iowa. Currently we are retired, and have done interim ministries in many areas in Iowa. We currently live in thehome place where my parents moved in 1943. We park cars during the Iowa State Fair. We have traveled to Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Ireland, Honduras. China and Alaska. We are getting ready to return to China...Expand for more

My hobbies are Stained Glass both repaire and create, building full size sail boats,and rebuilt a 19'sailboat. Also two kayaks one single and one double. small wooden toys. Our daughter lives in
South Carolina and there we have a granddaughter and grandson. Our son is in Boone, and there we have a grandson. This is May 2008. We have moved to South Carolina and our daughter and her husband live with us as does our granddaughter. We serve a congregation in Pembroke Christian Church, Pembroke Virgina. This is my first church our of seminary 49 years ago. Changes and memories.
