George's Story
After high school I became an electrician in Philadelphia until 1992 when unemployment reared it's ugly head.....so I said goodbye to construction and went back to school to become a nurse. I started going to Presbyterian Hospital school of nursing to become an LPN while I was also attending BCC and CCP. I was taking the core classes to become an RN which was my goal. After graduating I worked at Presbyterian Hospital as a Med-Surg LPN on a cardiac-unit for a couple-years until I got a call to intervi...Expand for more
ew with the State Of NJ for a position as a Corrections Officer. I had taken the test in 1992 and had all but forgot when I got the letter asking if I was still interested.....I said what the heck and went to the interview. I was hired in August of 1996 and that is what I will retire doing.....12 more years to go!!!
As far as married life.....I have been married since October of 1988 to my wife Barbara. We have a 14-year-old daughter together. I have been with Barb since April of 1982. Life is good!!
