George's Story

My parents still live in Lake Worth and I get by there almost weekly. I'm finance director at a clinic in Denton and live in Aubrey. I'm in my 28th year as a high school football official, an avocation that has taken me from Tyler to Midland, Gainesville to Gatesville, and most of the football fields in between. I serve as the "Red Hat" at TCU games. I'm the guy with the headset that signals the referee when we are back from tv timeouts. Obviously I love the Friday Night Light...Expand for more
s and have even refereed some Bullfrog games over the years. It drives my co-officials crazy when I sing the alma mater when the band plays it. Although I consider myself a homebody, I have seen many of our states as well as Japan, Viet Nam, Hong Kong China, Mexico, England, Uganda, and Bermuda. (As an air traffic controller I once lived in Bermuda for 14 months). I have 3 kids, 2 step kids and 6 grandchildren. That's about it. I would love to hear from any of my classmates.
