George A's Story
George's schools include Plum High School. George later attended State University of New York at Cobleskill. George works(ed) at Truegreen Lawncare Company. Currently living in Falls Pennsylvania where I worked for TruGreen as a Hort/Tree Shrub Tech Rt Mgr. Been there since 2006. Left Trugreen to go to work At Brown Hill Tree in Meshoppen ,Pa., as a spray tech, started new job on May 15, 2017.. Very active in the Masonic order, received my 33rd degree in Boston in 2009 in the Scottish Rite, Past master 2 times in Nicholson Lodge and Factoryville Lodge, was back to Plum for 40 year reunion, very interesting to see old faces and how things have changed over the years. Currently working on my 1965 Ford Galaxie, it was in mothballs for 2 years, mom got very sick and passed in February 2014, just getting back on feet financially so can pursue hobby again. I have 3 nephews one in the Marines, one in the army, and one that was in the Navy. ing on it is about 50% completed, nothing like stripping, sanding, and scraping away almost 100 years of lacquer, shellac, and fools varnish, previously applied by owners who thought they were doing good, but actually making a rather bad mess Back to work at Trugreen fall of 2018 after business failure with Brown Hill, not enough work due to poor management on owners part and unwillingness to listen to new selling ideas for Commercial tree spraying, effectively limiting work to 3 months instead of 9-10 , also failure on their part to fulfill opportunities within company. Currently working for Trugreen, Plains, Pa, (Wilkes-Barre) as the Senior Tree and Shrub Tech Route Mgr, in addition to my daily spray route from WB/Scranton down to Stroudsburg, assisting new customers and customer issues not easily addressed by Senior Management. Player Piano is now finished and playable with an assist vacuum pump, upper stack rebuilt, now onto lower stack, when that's finished you will be able to pump it manually, Semi retired now, still working at Trugreen as a Sr. Tech Advisor Rt Mgr. for Tree and Shrub division.
