Workplace
I was very fortunate to work at T.O.B. Sanitation for over 31 years and have the skills to become a supervisor in 1988.I had 25 to 30 men under me everyday, it was a great to serve the residents of Town of Oyster Bay and see that they were pleased with the sanitation service everyday. I will miss the friends that I have made in all those years, and some of my big bosses I have worked under. I have retired in 2002 and I am involved with the Little League of the Islips in Long Island New York for over 31 years. The league is onre of the biggest in the state with over 1800 boys & girls that play on 18 fields in one area in Great River. The fields have 2 refreshment stands, restrooms. The 2 better fields have press boxes with scoreboards i...Expand for more
n the outfield fences. All people involved are volunteers, that take care of the field maintenance that I am in charge of and my wife is the vice president of the womens auxillary that take care of the refreshment stands so they have help to serve the parents and kids to hot dogs and sodas. I enjoy this and it is a great organization to serve the kids in my community.
