George's Story
Two jobs I had while I was in High School were working at Radio Shack and cooking pizzas at The Pizza Factory.
After graduation I packed my bags and was going to move to Portland, OR. I went to the local bank to close my account and was offered a job. I was in banking for 10 years and left there an officer of the bank.
I took a couple of years off and also took a cruise. After the relaxation I opened my own computer business building computers, installing networks and also provided a help desk for any kind of computer issues or training. While I had this business open I also partnered with a guy I met providing tactical equipment to law enforcement world wide. This business is still quite active.
I worked for IBM and Unisys Corp. I was in the Information Technology field for about 10...Expand for more
years. I left Unisys Corp. in December 2008. I was the Escalation Manager for the whole United States. I frequently dealt with irate customers who were not provided the service they expected. Prior to the Escalation Manager position I managed a group of technicians (approx. 50) in Washington and Oregon State.
We have started a staffing company and expect great results. My wife has a long history in this line of work.
I have been married 3 times and have some interesting stories regarding all 3 marriages. In June 2008 I married for the 4th time to Brenda, a gal I have known for approx. 13 years. She is my best friend.
I lost my father to cancer three days after I wed. He will be missed by many. I considered him to be my best friend prior to Brenda. He was married for 50 years.
