George's Story
Hi,
I'm doing well. I've been married for 9 years and have two young daughters, Angelina 8 and Evita 7. I started late with a family, but I really enjoy it. My wife Monika is 21 years younger than me and she keeps me young. I am really blessed with my two daughters and wife! My daughter, Angelina, is a talented piano player and is very mature for her age. My other daughter, Evita,is very artistic. They are both doing very well in school. We have been to Europe several times. (Monika is from Poland). Monika is a stay at home mom and is a great cook. She does a wonderful job with the kids. We have a 4 pound pomeranian named Brutus. He sure is spoiled. Dogs are very therapeutic. They are good to have around. I've been controlling the electrical system for the city of Los Angeles for 29 years. I can retire next year, but I really love my job. I own an aerobatic airplane and love to f...Expand for more
ly as much as I can. I ride my bicycle 12 miles a day, several times a week We also love to hike and hang out with friends. What can I say, life is good!
My childhood was pretty miserable. My parents fought all the time. I was very self conscious and shy. I kept to myself alot. I was depressed most of the time. I remember teachers and counselors saying that the best years of your life are your high school years. That was total BS for me. I hope that they aren't still saying that. It could drive a kid to suicide thinking that life isn't going to get any better. The best years of my life came after thirty-five. I look back at my life and cringe at some of the things that I did. I am a very different person now. I am definitely wiser, more tolerant and forgiving. If I hurt or offended anyone, please forgive me. I am at peace with myself, Thank God.
God bless you all,
George Rivera
