I interned at the Federal Communications Commission during my college years, but my first post-college job was as an engineer with the Westinghouse Electric Company near Pittsburgh, PA. I was a design engineer in the Electro-Mechaincal Division of their Nuclear Energy Systems group. I also enrolled in the Graduate School of Management at the University of Rochester, part-time at night, and received an MBA in Ope...Expand for more
rations Management in 1983. Shortly thereafter, I moved within Xerox to administration and finance, including a field assignment in Dallas, TX. My career at Xerox included positions in a number of business organizations as well as technology commercialization. I ended my career there in 2009, before joining the Eastman Kodak Company in 2010 as a management consultant in their Services for Business organization (a start-up for business consulting and technical services).
I married Faith D. Adams, DPM, in 1993. Her daughter, from a previous relationship, is married and living in Philadelphia with her husband and son. My brother and sister remain in the DC area. My parents are deceased.
