Georgeann's Story
Life
after graduation I went to college for one year, and then I was a flight attendant for three years.I was married to David Holland in July of 1970 and he was a police officer in Oceanside for 8 years after college. In 1972 I quit flying and took a job in banking where I remained until 1983. During this time, we had a daughter, Jenny in 1974 and a daughter, Jayme in 1978. In 1983 I became a contractor and I owned my own company. My husband was injured and retired from the police dept. in 1978. In the years following his retirement, he became a corporate Director of Human Resources and Risk Management in the automotive industry. finally to Charlotte,NC. We love it here and have been here for the past 6 years and he is currently head of HR for Meineke Car Care nationwide. Our oldest daughter, Jenny, lives in Ca. with her husband and our 3 year old grandaughter, Chloe. Our daughter, Jayme age 25 lives with us. She is a nurse but she has been critically ill for the past 16 months, so we are caring for her. I am currently acting as a consultant only with my career. We are a strong Christian family and God has truly blessed our lives with so many wonderful experiences in the past 36 years since graduation. By the way, my parents and sister, Debbie, and her family all are in the Escondido and North County area, so we do get out to Ca. often.
