Georgia's Story
What I remember most from my years at Andrew Jackson:
Entering the tenth grade in a brand new school!
The Prep Quiz Bowl in the fall of 1968 as the AJ Captain (we lost - but it was fun).
Doing my Physics homework in Fortran on the huge computer.
The great college prep education I got at a public school in St. Bernard Parish.
College at LSU - New Orleans which became the University of New Orleans:
Started out as a Physics major, then Music, then Drama, graduated in Drama & Communications with a minor in Journalism (BA)
Other education, etc.
Master's in Healthcare Management (University of New Orleans)
Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
Certified Professional Coder - Hospital (CPC-H)
Registered Medical Coder (RMC)
Other interesting things I've worked at over the years:

After Betsy and Katrina and Rita and Gustav and Ike and all the Hurricanes in between, I've decided I will never evacuate again. Life is too short to spend days at a time on the open road with a million other cars (and your dogs and birds in the car with you).
I live in the New Orleans area and will live here my whole life (unless of course I happen to become very wealthy then I can buy a Villa around Venice, a condo in Manhattan's Upper Westside and keep my little house here in Louisiana). Louisiana is GREEN and WARM compared to other states. But I must admit that NYC is tempting. It energizes me to visit and I do it as often as I can afford to.
The things I love the best:
My children and grandson, of course
A dynamic day at work and a relaxing evening at home with my Silky Terriers and my birds
A glass of Pinot Noir and a good book
A weekend at Grand Isle on the beach with girlfriends
A Yankees game
ALL the museums in New York
