Gerald's Story
After graduation I moved to Mountain View California and spent nine years in the area and serving this great nation of ours in the Navy. I was attached to VP-31 air squadron flying around chasing subs. I then moved back to Westy where I met the love of my life Stacie. We met while camping up at Twin Lakes. We have three grown children one lives in Littleton the other two are in Corpus Christi Tx. In 2003 we moved to a small town in south Texas call Crosby. I'm the operations manager for a renewable energy company. We travel back home to Colorado a few times a year to spend time with family and go camping and fishing on our property we own above Eleven Mile Reservoir. I am and always will be a rocker, I like the Foo Fighters, Buck Cherry and the likes, I also listen to a great deal of Reggie, Sublime and Pepper and such. I have...Expand for more
n't been to any class reunions and I haven't set foot in the high school from the day I walked out, ironically enough my wife is a school teacher and use to teach at Westy for a quite a few years. Maybe even taught some or your kids. Now Ranum and Westy are combined??? No more rivalry. But it is a big beautiful school. I originally came from North Denver and spent my Freshman year at North High, then came to Westy as a Junior. I was also at the Career Enrichment Park taking welding classes. My favorite teacher was Ms. Greene, she taught Art and was simply a great person. I didn't spend to much time getting to know many people but if you saw a guy with flaming red hair that would be me LOL, As for me just getting thru school and working full time took most of my time. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
