Gerald's Story
After high school I got a job at industrial brown hoist and I worked there until they folded in 1983. I couldn't find a job so my wife Susan mention going back into the military, so why not give it a try, hold and behold they toke me and so we sold our home and headed out to San Diego. (My Wife and three kids) I was with them for about a month before I left for a west pac on the ship I was assigned to, (Gone for eight months) on the USS Buchanan. story short I remained in the Navy till I retired in 2000. We stayed in Virginia but we moved to Lynchburg where I got a job with Barr laboratories and I retired from there in 2011. Susan and I have a ministry of helping the elderly with small repairs on their home, painting what ever we can do to help them. We just sold our home here in Forest,Virginia and we're moving to the Orlando Florida area within the next month. So we will start another chapter in our life's journey and with the Lords help we will continue to do his work.
