Gerald's Story
OK, a quick summation of the last 50 years or so.
Left OL after graduation to attend Southern Illinois University where I spent the year drunk and stupid and dad refused to pay for any more of that. Family moved to Springfield, Ohio and then to Concord, CA. Army wanted me for VietNam so I enlisted in the Air Force where I became a Russian linguist and radio intercept operator, and got married for the first time. ndiana University in 1971, did a Masters, and finally a PhD in Science Education. Fathered two delightful children while teaching school in northern Indiana. Moved to Houston, TX and went to work at NASA training astronauts and performing flight operations and had divorce #1. Left NASA in 2001. Became a stupid diabetic and as a result of knowing more than my doctor ended up having my left leg amputated below the knee. Currently residing with my partner Jan in Phoenix, AZ.
