Gerald's Story
After HS I received my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of the Pacific Stockton, California in 1972. I worked retail pharmacy for several years interspersed with a year off for travel to Europe (Remember europe on $5 a day!). Took a job with the state of California in 1977 supposedly for a year to gain clinical experience and here I am 30+ years later anticipating retiring from the state. Married in 1979. We met during pharmacy school. Yes, we are both pharmacists. We have 2 daughters, 2 dogs, and 2 cats! Looking forward to our 30th anniversary in Hawaii in September.
The 30th anniversary in Hawaii was absolutely GREAT! Went to the big island and to Maui. We are both retired from the state of California.
I took up a new sport - scuba diving. Great to see the fish in their homes instead of on a hook or on the plate.
