Life Hi all that want to know........ I am a recent retiree of the State of Ohio. I worked for the State for 35 years in various positions. My longest position was as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. Where my position entailed working with person's with disabilities, [developmental, physical, behavioral, substance abuse and emotional problems] making them eligible for services, that would aid them in...Expand for more
acquiring skills that would make them employable or able to return to the work force. It was a very interesting and rewarding job. I have a married adult son, and I am a grandmother of 3 [2 boys and 1 girl]. I am also raising my 12 year old niece [my sister, her mother died of cancer a few years ago]. At this time I am truly enjoying my retirement and looking forward to hearing from some of my classmates.
