Geraldine's Story
After graduating from E.L. Vandermeulen I attended classes at S.C.College, I then started working in retail for several years, I married in 1973 to Martin
DeMartino and 4 years later we had a daughter Martine. She is now 39 years old and married, she married in 2005 in Rome, Italy, she currently is a Director 0f Product and Design for Macy's in N.Y.C., I am very proud of all her accomplishments, she gave me her diploma after graduating from Fordham Univ. Martin and I divorced in 1996, I currently live with my TWIN

is still working at her job for Suffolk County as a purchase technician, I just recently retired from the County after 14 years there, I
was a dietary supervisor, I earned a certification in Dietary Management and Sanitation at S.C.C. in 2001, I've recently went through a major surgery(2008) and was recuperating, when I decided to take the early retirement incentive that the County was giving. I don't know what my next adventure will be my I am feeling great and I hope it will be exciting.
Fast forward to 2016, I am doing wel and enjoying retirement, I am looking forward to the 50th Class Reunion in September, and hope to attend.
