Lori's Story
Where do I start! I'm a mom of 4children(well there's my 19yr.olds best friend that I adopted in2 our family-not legally-so that's actually 5kids!). I got married 1/7/89 and had Re Ann-my 1st born, 2nd born was my son E.J.-who was diagnosed at 3yrs.old w/PERVASIVE DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDER(PDD-or more commonly known as Autism). We were very lucky that it was in a mild form, U would hardly be able to tell, and 3rd born was Angelica. My husband passed away on the weekend of my birthday get away(6days after my b-day)in the Hotel swimming pool of a massive heart attack August 1997. The worst part was that my 1st born only 9 at the time saw the whole thing & was the only1 to help me pull him out of the pool-dead. Ok-enuf of that-Joseph Patterson-SALUTE'! le For Me Now! Then there's my 4th child-Tori-from my ex of 1yr. We were 2gether 8yrs. That--was a hard, long road that taught me that U need 2 working on the relationship if its gonna work. So now I am single parenting my 19, 17, 14 & 6yr.old beautiful baby's and think I'm doin a pretty good job, considering. My oldest 3 have been Principles List and Honor Roll students thru-out their school yrs. and in elementary school each were students of the month EVERY yr. Now about me....I'm at the stage of refinding myself. I've been a stay at home mom for 19yrs. and desperately need 2find, decide on and get in2 a career, 1 that will carry me thru-2 finish raising my youngest 2. Ok, I could probably use the rest of my 18,500 characters, but 4 now...thats a rap!!!
