Gigi's Story
I moved from Hammond six months after I graduated. I married at 19 and landed a job with GTE Now known as Verizon in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. I have Two Children and three grand children.
I retired in Austin after 35 years and and six months later contracted a virus. My wonderful mother came to Texas and stayed 6 months in 2015 as we searched for a diagnoses of my crazy symptoms of seizures, migrains, vertigo, hearing loud sensitivity, and so much more progressively disabiling symptoms. ed Menieres Disease associated with SemicircularCanalDehiscence.com. My life is not so simple any more as my right balance nerve was removed and I struggle every day to just take a simple walk. We take so much for granted.
My parents still live on Nevada Court. My sisters and brother still in area. My sister Debra needs our prayers as she was recently diagnosed with cancer. My father has Alzheimer's. My brother brought him to Texas and I was so excited to see that he still knows who Gigi is and can stil make me laugh. Best medicine ever!
Life has been good to me, I have been blessed in so many ways.
