Rosemary's Story

Life Hi to ALL of my old friends from school. Now that I have been signed up with classmates for awhile I would like to tell you a bit of what I have been doing. I have found several of my old friends from school and have developed a new friendship with them. There are still a few more I would like to find, I hope in time I will. Now to tell you a bit about me... I got married almost right out of school to a guy from NJ. We were married about 5yrs and had 3 wonderful kids. Davis my oldest, and the first to make me a grandmother. He has a son, David Van Allen III, and now 2 more sons, Clayton and Juston. And then there is Daniel Van Allen my #2. I am very proud of him. He's worked hard for the things he has, but at times thing just get in his way and he gives up. But, I do still have hope for him, expecilly now that he is out of California. I'm sure God has plans for him somewhere. My youngest is Lisa Lee Allen/Minor. She is living in Anza, California with her boyfriend. She likes it out there, Why I don't know? Her sons name is Cory Alexander Minor born 3-15-03. And, now I have a granddaughter, Alexandra Minor. UPDATE: We lost my beauitful little Granddaughter on Aug. 30, 2006. We will miss her very much. But I know I will see her again in Heaven some day. I have had a lot of bad luck with marriage since then always married the wrong guy. But, now I'm married to a guy from St. Louis, MO now. And he finilly got me out of Calif. I now live in O'Fallon Mo and loving every minute of it. We have now been here for eight years and it just gets better every year. The weather still sucks out here but the people are wonderful. Tony and I met when I was driving big rig over the road. We have now been married for 13 years coming up on May 1, and still very happy. the sad thing is now Tony is fighting two different kinds of cancer that will one day soon take his life. So we are celebrating each and every day the God give us and Thanking Him all the way. One of the cancer t...Expand for more
ook his kidneys so now he lives on Dialysis three times a weeks and that is very hard on him. But he keeps his head up and he goes through all this and never complains a bit. Thats what I love so much about him. I'm still driveing, but, now I'm driving school bus again. I've come full circle now. Thats how I started out my driving career. Been driving for Ft. Zumwalt school Dist. now for 8 years and loving it all the time. The Kids are great. Have to tell you about my favorite toy. I finely got my dream motorcycle. I have a Harley Davidson XL1200 custom sportser. It's dark blue with lots of chorm, it's a nice bike. I love to ride as ofter as I can. But now that I live in Missouri where it snow and it's very cold I don't ride as often as I would like. My grandpa Gilbert would be proud of me, I'm the second one in the family to have a harley. Update on the Harley, I ended up selling it. It was getting to the point where I didn't ride it because Tony doesn't ride, plus we needed the money so I sold it. I miss it at time when the weather gets nice or when I hear a group of Harleys ride by but it's all for the better. My next bike will be I think, a trike maybe a Goldwing this time. well let you know. Well that the last 39 yrs now in a nut shell. Hope to hear from some of you. Remember I was the quite one that no one knew. Not any more I have been out of my shell of being shy for a very long time now. Thank you for reading my profile. Have a wonderful day and may God Bless you and yours. College I went to RCC for two years. My reason for going was to just refresh myself on the things I should of learned better in High School. I really enjoyed my time in collage even though it was nothing really great. I did lear a few thing and I do feel it was a good experance for me. Before RCC I went to a trade school (Phillis Adair Collage Of Cosmetolgy). I got my license, but really never did enything with it. I ended up getting married and having a family instead.
