Tyrel (Ty)'s Story
*How do I hope my old friends remember me? I hope they remember me as being interesting. So many people nowadays are cut from the same cloth. Cloned personality after cloned personality.
*How do I blow off steam? I hit the gym, socialize, or kill something on a video game. =p
*What's the wildest thing I ever did in school? Broke into a building and trashed it with a friend. Not the best of ideas in retrospect, but I was young.
*Do I have a hero? When I was younger, I looked up to both Spiderman and Indiana Jones. Now? Sadly, few alive inspire nowadays.
*Where have I lived? Why did I move? Let's see...in chronological order I've lived in California, Louisiana, Arizona, Germany, New Mexico, Colorado, and Arkansas. We moved because dad was in the military.
*The one person from my past whom I'd like to see again? That would have to be Charles Ginsberg. He was a good friend in highschool, and I'd love to catch up.
*What's my biggest surprise in life? Actually, my life has been full of surprises. I guess the biggest would have to be the birth of my little girls. -Never- thought I'd ever have kids.
*Which teacher would I love to see again? I guess that would be Mr. Honesty (sp?). In highschool, he left me inspired to be more than who I was.
*If I won $100 million dollars? I'd set aside about 30 million for my kids, then I'd spend the rest of my days traveling, documenting it all via photos and diary.
*To be truly happy, I would be where, doing what, with whom? I would love to walk the desolate, the far flung, and less traveled places. The forgotten places of the world, where quiet still reigns, and reality TV and rabid consumerism hasn't ravaged hearth and home. I would do this with a select few of my friends.
*What happened to my first crush? My first crush was in, like, 3rd grade. Her name was Kimberly. She was blonde with little round cheeks. I bought her a thing of chocolates for ...Expand for more
valentines day, and broke up with me later that same day! Lol. Since then, there have been a string of women with whom I wish I hadn't parted ways with. In high school there was Tanya Carboni, Takisha Long, Becky Olson, Michelle Carabello...all these women hold a special place in my heart, even to this day. Something always happened though, inevitably sending us down differing paths. As an adult, I tend to have stayed close to the women I loved, even after separating.
*Still dress like I did 10 or 20 years ago? God no. I used to wear Z-Cavaricci (sp?), suits, and ties. Now, it's just a black or grey tee shirt and a pair of jeans.
*What's the weirdest job I ever had? I guess that would have to be a temp job when I was in college. I was the personal assistant to the owner of a construction company. Got payed big money to answer the phone, type up memos, and monitor those wishing to see him. For six months I worked for the man, and the whole time I would receive calls and visitors wishing to see him about bills....and the whole time he would very bluntly tell me to tell them to f**k off. This went on till I came to work one day, and the building was being sealed by local authorities. Apperantly my boss was deep in debt, and had failed to pay roughly 6 months of rent and bills. Needless to say, I was out of a job.
*If I got one do over, what would I do diffently? The first thing that sprang to mind was choosing to stay in Denver instead of moving here. Had I done that, though, I would have never met my close friends, or had my little girls. I guess, in the end, I'll just skip my do-over and accept my fate.
*Whose my oldest friend? It would have to be my friend Brian. Been friends with him 15 years. We worked fast food together. He was funny, entertaining, and fierce. He's pretty much been a drifter all these years, and moves in and out of my life, but he's always welcome to crash on my couch.
