Kandy's Story
5/11 Back in St louis where I was born, to be near family after divorcing a pathological liar.
Kids now almost 20 & 10!! I've started a non-profit Arts school, busy w/ my 10 year old, my students and my next level of education while watching out for true love with an honest man. yeahhhh
I truly love this old fashioned neighborhood, walk everywhere and enjoy this diverse college township.!
OK, 2 kids, 15 & 5 years!!
From Atlanta, working at the High Museum to teaching media.
Then tried out the sustainable living lifestyle on a Land Trust in Missouri. Perfect! I would do it again, but kids need to see how tough the world is.
So we are in Portland, Oregon now! A wonderful small city concentrating on sustainability. Now we walk & bike everywhere.

Concerns about the state of the world are ever present, but we feel we are a green family and hope to inspire others to get the hell out of their car!! Get involved, make a difference!
We sure are not perfect, but here in Portland one does not have to be. We enjoy the "live & let live" attitude here. Lots of outdoor adventure opportunity here, all within an hour.
Canoeing, hiking, visiting natural spaces are our favorite things. Along with the local farmers/artists market.
My husband of 20 years is in a band called Brothers of the Baladi. I enjoy thier gigs and the culture surrounding it.
I am still painting, but mainly create designs for print & web.
Lately dreaming of a restored '78 Mercedes 300CD, for biodiesel or SVO!
