Gina's Story
Wow...my life has changed so much in 12 years! I am now happily divorced and seeing a man who absolutely adores me. Giovanna is now 18, Francesca is 14, and Jonathan is almost 13. I obtained my Bachelor's degree three years ago in Accounting and decided a few months ago to change careers. I am now working on my Master's in Healthcare Management. Being a single parent to 3 teenagers is hard and there are days that I would like to run away, but I wouldn't trade my life for anything in the world. Between work, school, and the kids I don't know if I am coming or going, but I do know that I am happy! :-) <3 11/18/13
Life
My Spouse
I met my husband at my daughters thanksgiving dinner. My Mom was invited to the dinner as well and she brought me husband with her. They worked together and were pretty good friends. My husband and I got together right away and were married nine months later.
My Pets
I have a maltese named Chico and a bird named Lucky. I've had Chico for a little over six years and think he's the best. He is very protective of my three kids as well as my husband and I. We've had Lucky for a littl...Expand for more
e over a year. My brother found him in a rottweilers mouth, rescued him, and gave him to my oldest daughter.
My Kids
My oldest daughter, Giovanna, is going to be six in June. She is very smart and friendly, not to mention absolutely gorgeous. My youngest daughter, Francesca,is a year and a half and a handful these days. She is a very tiny little girl, but holds her own. She doesn't take much of anything from anybody! My son, Jonathan, is the youngest; he was born in March. He looks absolutely nothing like me or my girls. He has red hair and blue eyes. He is a good baby so far...
My Job
I am a full-charge bookkeeper for an electrical contractor. I am the only person that takes care of the books for the firm so I have a lot of responsibility. I typically work a normal work week, but I have a lot of leeway. My bosses don't really care how much time I spend in the office as long as the work gets done. That leaves me a lot of time to go on field trips, take the kids to their appointments, and have long weekends. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better job. The benefits are great and the pay isn't too bad either.
