Gina's Story
So...
I finished high school in California (Leuzinger High), went to Whittier College in CA, majored in Physical Education with a concentration in athletic training. Became a certified athletic trainer right after graduating. Have been working as an AT ever since. After finishing undergrad, I returned to Maine for a couple of years. Worked as an AT, did some coaching at middle schools, high schools and college. Left for Auburn University in Alabama in 1995 to get a maste...Expand for more
r's degree in Exercise Science.
Finished my degree and moved back to Maine to work at Univ. Maine at Farmington in 1997. Met my partner, Amy in 2004 and have been living the "married" life ever since. We are raising her 2 children, Morgan (18 going on 35)...she is graduating this year, and Andrew (14 going on 8)...he's going to be a sophomore in a few weeks!
So, we are on the tail end of having kids at home and are trying to cope with the impending empty nest syndrome.
