Gina's Story
For those who remember me in my early years I was the short red head. I was the shy, quiet one. I'm still short and I still have red hair.
I moved to Texas in 1977 with my family from Illinois. I attended Seguin High School in Seguin, Texas where I graduated in 1981.
I continued my education at Texas Lutheran in 1981. I studied Social Work, but consided the Arts/Music.
I graduated from Texas Lutheran in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work.
After graduation I resided in Seguin. I was briefly married for 8 years. I have 4 children ranging from the ages 22 to...Expand for more
8 years of age. My oldest children decided I should have grandchildren, so they made me one by giving me a granddaughter and grandson.
For the past 23 years, I have been working in the field of Mental Retardation. I am currently working in Austin with (DADS) Dept. of Aging and Disability Services, as a Program Specialist III. However, I reside in San Antonio for the time being. If it wasn't for cost and time I probably would continue to live in San Antonio. But, again Austin was where I always wanted to be. So, I guess I'll be heading this direction soon to live.
