Ginger's Story
Life
After high school, I majored in Fine Arts at SFA, then spent a miserable year working on my Masters in Lafayette, LA. I was rescued when an assistant band director job opened at Clements HS (Yes, with Larry Matysiak!). I stayed there for 13 terrific years working with some of the best students on this planet! inal big concert was at Carnegie Hall. Ah, but I also found the love of my life, and we got married this past June, so I have given up the long hours to concentrate on family. I will not get to far from the old band hall though as I will be teaching private lessons, and coordinating travel for some of the high schools.
