Never went overseas, something always came up including getting married to Jeff (divorced 2017). We were 126 miles apart--me SF and him in Montery--for 9 months and could only see each other on weekends (how many of you can say you honeymooned in SF or Monterey every weekend for 9 months?)
After his language class the Army sent us to Fort Bragg where I served as a journalist and he as a journalist/psyops specialist/photojournalist.
Our son, Bryant, was born there shorty before our discharge.
In 1989 we settled in Springdale (Northwest Metropolitan Area now), Ark., where I worked in hospital public relations and Jeff for Tyson. Jami was born there. In 1993 we moved to Hot Springs, Ark., where Jeff is an egg broker and I have been in international sales/customer service and later as ROTC adminstration. In 2005 I was ...Expand for more
fortunate to be home with teenagers.
When the kids were in college, we are split our time between Arkansas and New York at our hatchery. We put those college kids to work at the hatchery each summer--can't beat an average summer temp of 77 degrees! v. AR's 100 degree-high humidity weather.
In May, 2017, we divorced. I returned to Ohio. I went back to school and am now a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. I am engaged to my first love (who went to River Valley) whom I have known since we were 11 and 14. He escorted me to Prom my junior year.
Jami is a SPED teacher. She married in 2019 and they will have a son in June, 2024.
Bryant is a physician. He married in summer 2023.
Scott and I reside in SW Columbus where we enjoy being homebodies, kayaking/low-powered watercraft, and spoiling his three grandchildren
