Ginger's Story
Life
After graduation I went to Ball State for a few years but while working my way through I met and married my first husband. We married and moved to Wabash for a few months and after that record cold winter we moved to Ft. Lauderdale, I was pregnant with our first child at the time. We had another child in Ft. Lauderdale and moved to Lakeland Florida. We had our third child in Lakeland and by the time he was 2 months old we were moving back to Indiana. We lived in Anderson for about 5 years and then moved to Elwood.
I could not take the stress of my husband in and out of work and other things so we divorced. I met and married another man and have one child by him that is now 7 years old.
We enjoy going to auctions and rummage sales together, we haven't moved year after year or changed jobs (although I would like to change mine) since we have been married. Things have been going pretty good for us.
The worst thing that has happened to me in the last few years is that I lost my dad to cancer and my mom to a heart attack 16 months apart. I had to be the executrix of the estate which was an excruciating year long. We got thru it though.

nd we just love them to death. I can not believe that I am old enough to be a grandma but I am.
I have already connected with some people that I have seen or heard from for years because of Classmates and hope to connect with others soon.
School
Some of my most fun memories were going to band camps and marching in parades. I remember marching in the Mermaid festival and the extreme heat when band members from bands ahead of us were dropping like flies. I do not remember losing any of our members though. At the end of the parade route were mothers and band boosters with hoses an drinks of water for the exausted marchers and all some of could think of doing was going back to watch the rest of the parade to get a glimpes of a very special celebrity. We got very close to him and yelled hey O.J.!!! and he looked at us and waved back and now you know the rest of his story. If we only knew then what we know now....
I remember the way that I met one of my best friends, Lori Smith. She lived right across the street from us and we were playing red rover with the neighbor boy Merril Wolford, Lori came out of her house and started calling red rover with us and we got her to come over! We were in grade school at the time.
