Virginia's Story
Life
Life has been good to me. I have a great husband, Michael and 2 wonderful girls, Amber (age 36) and Jaime (age 34). We have 4 grandchildren, ages 10, 5, 4 and 2 year old. Looking at how my girls turned out is the true measure of my success!
My husband retired from the Navy in 2000 after 21 years of service. He has worked for the Navy as a civilian for The Office of Naval Intelligence in D.C.
I'm a lucky, lucky lady and love my life. Yes, I'm still a Hippie...that will never chance!
Workplace
I was lucky enough to be able to quit work when my grandson was born 10 years ago. That is the most important job that I have ever held. His mom and dad think so as well!

irth of three other grandchildren I have been happy to serve my children by watching my grand children while both sets of parents work. Its a little different at 55 than it was at 18! Love is unconditional...there's nothing that my kids could have every done that would have me take my love from them.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Debbie O'Neill, because I think of her all the time. Our group in high school consisted of Debbie, Karen Kennison, Tootie Brewer, David Johnston, Greg Smollen and me. I still talk to Karen and Tootie. Greg passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Peace, Love and Rock and Roll...still my hippie mantra.
