First, let me say this.. I am way too cheap to buy classmates. So, I am unable to get any of your messages. You may want to try glhs1 at the msn dot com if you really, really want to talk. Gin
How do I even answer what "i've been up to?
Let me see, I just returned from a three week visit to Italy with my manfriend. He lives in Scotland so we get together a few times a year, either he here or me there. We celebrated the anniversary of our first introduction by taking a trip to Italy. So enjoyable. I had not seen him other than Skype since last October. He will come here November to spend a week with me in Baltimore. This time I will show him my city. Nope, I have no plans to move there at the moment. I am still working at a full time job.
I now have an artificial knee and titatium screws in my ankles. It was a small price to pay for all of the years I spent playing racquestball, sometimes with the "old" Baltimore Colts. (yep, bragging...lol). Thankfully, I have no problems or issues, just a really cool 12 inch scar.
I do try to enjoy life. I'm managing to work my way thru my "bucket list". The best thing I've done so far is sky-diving. LOVED IT! I did it twice in t...Expand for more
he same day...lol. Now I am unable to continue because of the implants. the worst thing I did was go deep sea fishing. I caught the first fish then spent the rest of the time seasick. I offered the capitain cash money if he would return to shore...he declined. I spent the next 5 hours green and oh so very dizzy. Gosh I'm glad to cross that on off my list.
My family is good. They just shake their heads when I tell them about my latest adventures. I have found to tell AFTER I've had the adventure, not before. The nagging is almost unbearable otherwise. (If I wanted to be nagged, I would have stayed married!!! My grandkids just laugh when I talk about my guilty pleasure, hip-hop music and my daughter "hushes" me when I answer their questions about my high school days....(hmmm...I guess I don't blame her!)
I am looking forward to the class reunion. It will be fun to swap stories and catch up on what everyone's doing these days. And of course we all look the same...except for maybe the color of our hair and the size of our butts....lololol!
BTW...All of the pictures were taken since April 2011. The most recent was taken 09.02.11 when I was driving back from O.C. Md.
