Life As the Senior Class President of LRCH 1978, I regret to inform you that we were unable to get enough participation to pull off a 30th reunion for this summer 2008. These things take a tremendous amount of time and planning and, even though I started two years ago on this site, we have not had enough response and help to get anything together in time. Hopefully, people will wonder about it this summer, decide they missed having one, and will step forward with interest, willingness to help, and, when we get a date and place, go ahead and make financial deposits to allow us to proceed for next summer. Thanks to Beverly Mongomery Guinea, DeAnn Westfall Tate, Terry Johnson and Bob Morgan for agreeing to continue to help me work toward next year's reunion! Bob has agreed to be Communications Chair, though he lives near Memphis and not in LR. We need to build our contact list asap, so please visit the LRCH website for alumni in the near future, as we hope to utilize that for collecting data to build our own contact list. Our last reunion, the 20th in 1998, was fabulous, in my opinion. I think we had a casual affair on a Friday night, a family picnic on Saturday, and a more formal event Sat. night. As most kids are older now and may or may not care to come along at this stage in life, we are thinking in terms of a Friday night casual cash bar event and a formal Sat. night event, perhaps at the Peabody or some other hotel, probably next June -- mid to late June, before it gets so hot.
