Danine's Story

Life I am currently living in Heidelberg, Germany with my husband and 3 sons. I substitute teach at the DoDDS Middle School. I have been back to Madrid twice, however no luck getting on to the old Airbase, it has completley turned over to Spanish Control. Royal Oaks is a really nice housing area for "rich" Spanish families....Expand for more
All the houses have been renovated and it was hardly recognizable. The movie theatre and gym were nothing more than old buildings. It was kind of sad. However, Madrid is as alive as ever!! I love that city and all the wonderful memories we all made there. Anyone interested in making a trip? I would be glad to join you!!
