bank in Tampa working in the commercial loan department, mortgage department and trust departments. I went to school at nights during this time and received my B.A. in Accounting. I went to work for a local CPA firm and subsequently received my CPA designation.
After 12 years in public accounting, I moved to the private industry doing private and public SEC work. I worked for 15 years as Controller for a non-profit community health center. Just retired in October and moved to The Villages in Central Florida.
