Gladis's Story
Life
I have been married since 1991. I had just turned 21 and have to say I had a blast at my reception. I have a son that was born in 1996 and his name is Hunter Alexander. He is my pride and joy. My husband and I travel alot and we have a cabin in the UP in Houghton. We love to spend time up there and enjoy nature. We explore the wild, go rock hunting ... you get the picture.
But of course after a few days I start having cilivization withdrawl and must go shopping at the biggest mall I can find. Yes, I love to shop until I drop.
School
In school my biggest crush would have to be #%*. But that is only between me and you... So don't tell anybody!
College
College, Well call me crazy but I love school and I am going back for my masters in the near future. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a double major in Spanish and Psychology. And no I can't read peoples mind like I've been...Expand for more
asked in the past. LOL.
Workplace
My first Job was working for my family doing paroll for Sr. James Auto Cleaners, Then there was LJS, where we found ourselves partying more than working. After Graduating from Western Michigan University- I found a job working in my field of study (Psychology/Spanish) for a while. I have worked with kids and young adults as well as victims of domestic violence. I worked and translated in the courts to help the ones that did not speak the English language. This was very rewarding.I worked In the Operations Department Of a Local Community Bank but now I'm back, as of September of 2007, working at VanBuren County Domestic Violence Coalition. I have great hours and benefits, plus love the extra time I can spend at home with my family. I love this job because I can use my double major (psychology/Spanish) and deal with so many types of people which I find facinating.
