Life
I graduated on my 18th birthday in l962. Within a month after graduation, I went to work for the Federal Government as a secretary using my typing and shorthand skills developed at Adams City High School. I worked in four different positions and retired in l999 after 37 years with the Government. I was married in 1966 and had one son Scott Herring. ving in the same home I did in l966. My husband Gary retired in 2001 and we enjoy walking/hiking, play a little tennis and try to go to the fitness center weekly. We have a little cabin in Estes Park so that is our get-away. I have my mother and an aunt in their 90's so have them to check in on and it does take some of my time. But I count my blessings and say I come from good genes and hopefully will live a long time.
