Glen's Story
Life
I retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department in August of 2002, after 34 years of service. At the time of retirement I was the Sergeant in charge of the Torrance Courthouse, responsible for approx. 56 employees and 100 to 120 daily custodies. Currently I am married to an attorney (someone has to work) and have two step-children ages 27 & 31 living away from home. For 12 years we lived in Palos Verdes and then moved back into my high school home in April of 2002, a lot of memories. We remodeled the house and fixed it up after being a rental for 12 years. Are plan was to sell it after two years, but here we sit trying to decide were to live. Possibilities are Souther Calif. and the Boulder, Colorado area.
My current interest are computers and photography. I am currently the President of the South Bay Apple Mac User Group (SBAMUG) which has a membership of approx. 160. This is my fifth year as President.

My photography interest are personal in nature and some of my pictures can be viewed at glenterry.net Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Other interest include:
Starbucks group that I started 10 years ago at the Palos Verdes Peninsula Center. We have approx. 10 to 15 members in the group and usually have 3 to 6 people show up on any given day. The group is made up from several different occupations including Doctors, Lawyers and Indian Chiefs, sorry we are still looking for that Indian Chief. We talk about everything and everyone, hand out advice and have an occasional party. Due to outside interest I usually show up a couple times a week.
In 2008 I was elected to the North Torrance Homeowners Assoc. Board of Directors. The association represents approx. 9000 homeowners.
I also started a neighbor watch in my neighbor representing 25 homes, and that's the truth.
My wife still loves to work and I still enjoy retirement.
