My Spouse
I met my husband at Bennetts Creek Volunteer Rescue Squad. We were both EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians). My husband is in the Coast Guard currently stationed at Eatons Neck in NY. He also volunteers as a paramedic with a local Fire Station. We recently moved back to Virginia as my husband retired from the Coast Guard after 22 years. I am so glad to be back in Virginia. New York is a nice place to visit but not to live, particularly on the North Shore of Long Island!
My Kids
Our daughter, Elizabeth Paige Brown, is a very precocious little girl. She was born December 3, 1997 (under difficult conditions!) My life has never been the same!!!! She is interested in gymnastics and is now on a local team competing on Level 4 soon to be Level 5. S...Expand for more
he finished at level 7 but did not pursue it in college. She graduated from Campbell University in NC. She majored in History with a minor in Education. As a first year teacher, she is teaching U.S. History at Overhills HS in NC. With everything that is going on, she is virtual teaching at the moment. They are supposed to let the kids come back to school on Sept. 28. We'll see how that plays out! Welcome to your first year of teaching!
My Job
I am the Administrative Financial Manager for a small Baptist church in Newport News. I handle all the finances, hiring paperwork, all payroll forms, building & grounds management, membership. There's just so much! I am currently doing the administrative assistant's job. I absolutely LOVE my job. They are so good to me!.
