Let's see . . . after high school I took a few years off (I was really avoiding college out of a fear of failure). During that time I met my husband (I was 18) and moved to Florida for a year. After that we moved to Pennsylvania where I finally enrolled in school and totally shocked myself by staying on the Dean's List most semesters. I graduated from Widener University with a BA in Psychology and should have been honored Magna Cum Laude but there was an issue with my credits. I was a little disappointed. I married my husband Greg when I was 25 and gave birth to my son Drew 10 months later. In 2000, I took a teaching position at an Academy so I could be near Drew.
