Glenda's Story

Life A bio in 4,00 words or less. Let's see.....hmmm. After H.S. (almost too far away to remember)I worked and traveled. I married and moved to Alaska with my husband. Eventually we found our way back to the area and bought a home in the Sierra Nevada Foothills just outside of Auburn. The quiet of the community makes it worth the driving distance from some of the things that I like to do. I often find myself in S.F. for the weekend, a film festival, hiking, enjoying a water activity or with friends. My marriage lasted 25 years, then poof a new lifestyle. Took a bit of getting used to. All things work for out for the best. I have a wonderful daughter who just recently moved to Oregon. She was attending USC, but the Los Angeles ar...Expand for more
ea became overwhelming for her and she is regrouping in Oregon to attend school there. I am an Event Manager for Jeep Jamboree USA. We do 4x4 off road events all over the U.S for Jeep only vehicles. This year I have gone to New York, Pennsylvania, Alaksa, Nevada and Utah. My goal for 2008 is to explore more of the southwestern states. After moving back to California, I attended Sierra College and receive my Associate of Arts Degree. I am about 32 units shy of having my Bachelors Degree. At this point in my life the degree is not as important to me as learning. I am always taking a class of some type. Classes range from the quest to baking the perfect cookie to a course in eniegrams. Life is good. Hope yours is too.
