Glenda's Story
Life
Has it really been nearly 25 years?? Time flies! After high school, I went to Solano for a few years, then jumped right in to the wonderful world of work, where I've been ever since!!! Jobs ranged from working at Vacaville's radio station KUIC, to a government employee, to a state employee, to a position at a PBS affiliate in Sacramento (KVIE) as a producer (a dream come true)! I am now with a construction management firm in their marketing department.
Sweet and shy Glenda now rides a Harley and hangs with the tough crowd. Well, maybe she doesn't hang with the tough crowd, but I DO ride a Hog. Just bought it last year! What other spare time I have is spent with all my "fur...Expand for more
children" (three Scottish Terriers, and one cat).
Hope to hear from you!
Cheers!
I always wanted to be a television producer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a silly idea. As it turns out, they were wrong because I became a television producer.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, coffee, and coffee to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My best friend would tell you I'm very outgoing and gutsy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as incredibly shy.
My first job was at the Vacaville Library, where I got paid $3.35 an hour to shelve books. What I remember most about it is my wonderful supervisor Jill Falat!.
