Glenn's Story
Life
IÂm a financially independent investor who lives in Greenacres (West Palm Bch), FL. A couple of years after Graduation, I quit smoking & now IÂm in Excellent shape! I donÂt drink to excess anymore like I used to (Ah, the 'GOOD Old Days,' remember?) & I try my best to eat healthy. I workout at a GYM 4 days a week faithfully, & I always build up a Good Sweat at the GYM, balancing my workout between muscle training & cardiovascular exercise. I LOVE animals! I have a dog, JAKE, & a cat, ANGEL, who are 2 of the sweetest souls you could ever know! I have a GREAT sense of Humor! Let me tell you a joke: A young Christian couple was about to marry, so they started discussing what their new, family roles would be like. That's when they started to argue over coffee: who was gonna get up in the morning, go downstairs & brew it. First the man says, "No Honey, it's NOT my role in our family to make the coffee. That's YOUR role!" The woman replies, "No it's not, Dear. The BIBLE says it's YOUR role!" "Oh I don't Believe that," he says. "Where does it say that in the Bible?" he asks. "Well you BIG Dummy," she says. "Everybody knows there's a whole Book in the Bible entitled HE-BREWS!" IÂm a Strong Believer with my Faith firmly mounted on the Rock (that Rock being Christ Jesus!). I attend church regularly & I Tithe, simply because Christ Jesus means Everything to me & because He has a MUCH better plan of what to do with my finances ...Expand for more
than a sinner like me does. I think you should also know that right after Graduation, I was in a severe car accident when I was only 17 years old which left me Head Injured. Immediately after the accident happened to me, everything but my Heart Beat was taken away from me (I was in a full coma for almost 5 weeks). IÂve made an Amazing Recovery though! IÂm still able to walk, thanks be unto God & the Medical Profession. My injury closely resembles someone who has had a MINOR Stroke: Half of their body is completely normal, while the other half has a certain degree of Cerebral Palsy. Mine isnÂt severe, but you will notice it. My biggest deficit from the accident is IÂm no longer able to drive. The problem here is not physical though, itÂs mental; my ÂReaction-Time is just too slow. For example, if you were driving down the road, & a cat suddenly ran in front of your car, what would you do? Yes of course, you would put your foot on the brake without even thinking about it, right? Well if I was behind the wheel, IÂd have to think about what I should do or a split second, & that split second could mean a dead cat in the road. That cat could just as easily be a small child, & thatÂs a chance I just canÂt afford to take, so I no longer drive. Sure, this gets me feeling pretty sad & lonely at times, but when I do, I just start thinking of the MANY ways in which God has Truly Blessed my Life, & the one by FAR outweighs the other!
