Glenn's Story
Life
With thirty years approaching I'm sure we all have many changes to reflect on; no different with me. I married right after high school with a gal from Burbank, yea a Bulldog. We had three kids, two boys and one girl (daddy's girl). I lived in the southside just down the street from my sis. I like the fact that my kids and their twin cousins grew up and attended McCollum High together. After 17 years of marriage I divorced shortly after moving west to Del Rio. The Del Rio way of living was BBQ (carnes asada), rodeos, parting in Mexico, and hanging out at the only night club in town (Club Arriba). After nine years of country living I decided to move out to Nevada. It's like with so many things to do you don't know what to do. That is why I'm getting to know the Las Vegas night life one weekend at a time. When I visit S.A. I'm usually dining in fine "hole in the wall" establishments like Don Pablo's. I also must see my boys from "Until We Erase" rock the house. It's fun to watch these guys play, they're great kids. My son James plays bass, my nephews Aaron Montoya on lead guitar & Chris Montoya on drums and family friends (adopted sons) Aaron Maldonado on vocals & his brother Tony on rhythm guita...Expand for more
r. If you have twenty-something year olds take 'em to a show. It's Texas Punk/Rock/Metal at it's best or you can check them out online at myspace(dot)com(slash)untilweerase. I hope you all still like your music raw now and then Bobcats?
Workplace
Things are good. When it was announced that Kelly would be closing I got a call from my friend Dan (an Indian from Harlandale, take it easy he's not heavy he's my brother) about an opening at the Amistad Dam in Del Rio. This wouldn't be the first time nor the last time that I would hear from him. I had nine years of seniority that I didn't want to lose and I wanted to stay in Texas near my family. It was either this or end up in OK, GA, or UT. I accepted the job offer and moved west. I lived, worked, and played in Del Rio for nine years and with the kids all grown up I decided it was time for change. This time when Dan called about another potenial job opening he was working at Hoover Dam. This would be the ultimate dam(n) job for anybody working with hydro-electric generators. On February 2007 I found myself moving further west this time to Nevada. Now I work in Boulder City and make my home in Henderson a city south of Las Vegas. Viva la vida, Gatos.
