Mary's Story
Baseball season is starting up and I can't help but wonder what an exciting season lies ahead for several teams that have made changes....including the Red Sox.I love to watch baseball and football. In fact, when baseball season is over I always feel a little lost. You see, my favorite baseball team is the Boston Red Sox and I subscribe to the baseball season on Direct, so I watch just about every game.
My husband and I love to travel. I have three adult children ages 41, 38 and 31.
I have been teaching for 24 years and now for the past six years have held a position called Teacher-on-Assignment. It's a fancy name for a coach. ired...it gives me time to do just about anything. My husband is still teaching math.
I have lived in Redlands for about 40 years and love it. We are a community about 65 minutes from Burbank. There is a University here in town and a lot of cultural events. We have a beautiful view of the mountains leading up to Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead, a view I have never tired of.
About a year after I retired we moved to our desert home. We had rented it out for 10 years.
My husband was teaching Math and Drama in the Coachella Valley at Bobby Duke Middle School. It was a difficult move for me, but after a year we have friends to hang with, play golf with, and go out to eat with. Our children are now 46, 44, and 36. They are all doing well and are safe. It is Easter Sunday Morning 2020. We hope and pray you are all safe and well.
