Hey there classmates, ***LEAVING THIS SITE*** as of Nov. 1. hekk at capecod dot net if you wish to contact me. YES, I was the ACHS FOOTBALL TEAM MASCOT when I was just 3-5 years old. All those GORGEOUS CHEERLEADERS began my future appreciation of females...(..sigh..) Though NOT an *ACTUAL* member of the Class of '65, I did grow up in Roselle from '47 to '57, and knew many members of the class -- from Washington Street School, and Harrison Ave. School. I also was a drummer in Mr. Koon's Marching Band in Harrison, and was part of the Halloween Parade in 1956 -- Second Av.e to Chestnut Street - south to ACHS. We weren't too orderly, but MADE GREAT MUSIC !! I still remember a REALLY CUTE 'Eleanor' Somebody who played the Bass Drum. ANYONE KNOW WHO THAT WAS ? I was also the only Caucasian in a Warinanco Park Little League team -- they knew I could PITCH, but couldn't run bases worth a DAMN. I still recall hearing, "C'MON, HEKKIN' GIT...Expand for more
