Glenn's Story
Life
I made a career out of the Air Force working in intelligence as a Russian linguist for 23 years. I spent a total of 10 years in Germany and the Soviet Union, so I was overseas or otherwise unable to attend any of the class reunions.
I retired from the Air Force at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, TX, in April 1994. I worked for a little over 5 years as a public safety communications supervisor, then a couple of years each as a veterans' service officer and veterans' employment representative. I was married in 1971, three weeks before I entered the Air Force. My wife, Janet, retired from civil service in January 2012 after 26+ years. She passed away suddenly in February 2020.
We have two daughters: Natalie is a nurse in Tampa, FL; and Kira is a lead medical lab technologist/subject matter expert at a medical software company in Layton, UT.
Three cats have adopted us--Stormy, Mick and Tasha. Two other cats call our garage home--Shadow (Stormy's mother) and Garfield.
