Glenn's Story

Life One son, Jason living in Sacramento, CA. Three grandchildren, Cameron, Natalie and Lily. Widowed. I enjoy skiing, sea kayaking, and things like travel, movies and dining out. Spent 1966-1970 in USAF. College: Took advantage of the GI Bill to go to Cal Poly Univ for BSE. After a Masters in Aerospace engineering from Princeton, I moved to CA to work in advanced energy research at Stanford, the DOE Livermore Laboratories, University of Nevada and the automotive industry. nt 20 years at the DOE Livermore Laboratories working on laser fusion, hydrogen and fuel cells and was lucky enough to be responsible for the design of the 1st x-ray laser and the steering rocket propulsion system for our space-based missile interceptor. Spent 5 years in the research faculty at the University of Nevada and 4 in the automotive industry helping develop and commercialize fuel cell and renewable hydrogen technologies. My son, Jason was born in March 1975. He's made me very proud since then. He has an engineering degree from UC Davis. He's married to Erin and has 5 wonderful and smart children. I'm now living in the Sierra Nevada foothills in Cameron Park, CA.
