Glenn's Story
At my ripe old age on July 6th 2008 I entered the Pancake 5K race in Hilliard, Ohio (3.1 miles) and came in 2nd place for my age group (50-54). (28th over-all) with a time of 25:33. I feel I could of done better. The 1st place guy in my age group was from Detroit and beat me by 31 seconds. I got a well-earned 2nd place medal from the event. I did better in the race than what I did on my training runs. The race results and my name are posted on the Ultrafit-usa web site I was race number 284 in the Pancake 5K. tle all out run.. In longer races you have more time to plan your moves. They also had a 10 mile run that left 15 minutes before the 5K started, some of the top dogs in that 10 mile run had very impressive times of around 1:05- I can't get near that time. I would not of been fast enough to win anything in the 10 mile race I'd need to do more speed work, but I did good in the 5K! -Columbus, Ohio has alot of jogging and bike trails all over the city.. Lisa is not into running.. I live in OSU Buckeye Land but I'm still a Michigan Wolverine Fan.
