Glenn's Story
I attended three different high schools and spent 2.5 years at BHS.
.I returned to Baraboo to help a friend with his business development and "I am stuck in Baraboo again" due to unforeseen circumstances. Prior to that, I pursued two majors at a college and university in Illinois, then went to Washington, D.C. to pursue a masters degree in colonial American history. However, I was hired to manage a retail store and Carol, my wife, and I had our first child in 1971. and the cost of living and long work hours precluded enrollment at Catholic University.
I did manage to surround D.C. with bookstores through appointment by the industry trade association. (General Lere tried to surround Washington and was stopped at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.)

me at Carson Pierre Scott in an obsolete job, I noticed that the name on an office door was Carol Canepa. While in Virginia in the 80's we attended a 2,000 member Episcopal church where Karen Hillestad showed up. She asked me if I was going to our 25th class reunion, and I told her, "I don't want to go and hang out with a bunch of old people."
I did attend the 50th reunion and told a classmate that I would see him 50 years later at the next one I attended.
Carol and I have four adult children, all born in the same Fairfax County Hospital in Virginia, nine grandchildren born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and (so far) one great-grandson. None of them are Williams because our first three children were girls and my son and his wife don't respond to hints. However, we have one grand-dog and two grand-cats..
