Glenn's Story
Are we going to have a 56th reunion?.... I should ask....never went to any of the others except the 50th organized by Rick and Nettie Kessler! Good time!
After Bedford HS , I received my Bachelor of Science from Adrian College Adrian Mi. In 1974 I graduated from THE Ohio State University/College of Dentistry. Go Bucks!!! In 1968 Jane Rae Unger and I married. We have 3 children- 2 daughters and 1 son. Our oldest daughter, Adrian is a 3rd grade teacher at Monclova. Both her and her husband are BGSU grads, Our next daughter, Katie is a special ed teacher at Evergreen in Fulton County, Ohio.Her and her husband are Ohio University grads. Both of our daughters live in Sylvania. Our son has a masters in architecture(U of Cincinnati and Miami of Ohio), but after a stint as a Navy Seal then as an Air/Naval rescue swimmer based in Japan. ationed at the Air Station in Pensacola,Florida in training to become a US Naval pilot…Go figure. We have 6 granddaughters, 5 in estrogen-rich Sylvania, those 5 are within a 5 minute drive from us here on San Luis Rey Drive. The only grandson is in Pensacola with his sister and mom, (Megan) along with our son,Robert. Jane and I enjoy a home on Higgins Lake, Michigan that we built in 1986, I enjoy skiing, backpacking, shooting, gardening. Favorite skiing?..... Vail, Telluride, Jackson Hole ...but not necessarily in that order. Although, the Boynes (Mountain and Highlands) see most of my ski time. Favorite backpacking? Italy, Greece, Sangre de Cristo Mts, and Rockies.....yes in that order! Jane does NOT NOT NOT backpack but we also enjoy trips to Athens,Venice, Rome, Prague and Budapest. Favorite place on earth?...... Higgins Lake Michigan hands down. Glenn
